Expanding neighborhood shopping center will host family Easter event in April
New Orleans, LA – (March 18, 2019) – N3 Real Estate, the national real estate firm that owns Algiers Plaza, is proud to announce two new retailers joining their growing list of tenants. The retail center, located in the heart of Algiers along General De Gaulle Avenue at Holiday Drive, welcomes LA Nails and Spa, which is now open for business, to their new 1,675-square-foot space next door to Sprint.
In addition, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses will be opening at the end of March in the 5,360-square-foot space formerly occupied by Payless ShoeSource. N3 Real Estate acquired the 237,000-square-foot multi-tenant center in Algiers in 2014.
“We’re excited about the ongoing development of this property and our continued investment and dedication to the people of the Algiers community,” said N3 Chief Executive Officer Brenna Wadleigh.
Along with the new retailers, Algiers Plaza will be hosting their first Egg-citing Spring Fling. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. Families will have the opportunity to participate in a Easter egg hunt, take photos with the Easter Bunny from Imaginola Photography, play video games with NOLA Games on Wheels, make art with NOLA Art Bus, pet animals from Dat Rollin Ranch, decorate cookies and much more! There will also be a DJ and bounce house from S&J Events, LLC.
There will be four age groups for the Easter egg hunt to ensure everyone has a great time: toddlers 0-3; 4-8; 9-12 and 13 years and older. Be sure to check in at the Macaroni Kid West Bank tent when you arrive to get your bag to use for the hunt while supplies last or feel free to bring your own Easter basket.
The event will take place at Algiers Plaza, 4150 General De Gaulle Drive, New Orleans, LA from 3-5 p.m., at the empty grass lot behind Algiers Regional Library across from Winn-Dixie. In case of rain the event will take place at the former Mattress Firm space next to Walgreens. The Spring Fling is free and open to the public and will take place rain or shine. The Easter egg hunt will be modified in case of rain.
